Mr. Evans is a 39 years old male who suffers from stage 2 chronic kidney disease, diebetes mellitus and hypertension. He states that he has difficulty understanding what he can eat and what he should avoid. He is willing to add vegetables to his diet but adds, “I love a good steak. It would be a shame to have to give this up.” Based on a 2000 calorie daily diet, along with dietary considerations related to his medical conditions, prepare a complete list of foods and beverages he can have for ONE meal (specify if breakfast, lunch or dinner).
