   This week you learned about promoting healthy aging. We focused on health promotion and disease prevention as important strategies for improving the quality of life for the older woman. To practice your skills, you will complete a case study and develop a presentation addressing what you can do as a provider to help prevent bone loss in your patient. Additional instructions: Ignore the DOB on the worksheet and please just put in age sixty when you calculate the FRAX. You are able to calculate just putting the age which will then put in the DOB. The current DOB is not consistent with the age. Let me know if you have questions.
