I enjoyed reading your post. You brought up great points about how differences in cultural customs often result in increased complexity of international negotiation. In instances of personal level negotiation among individuals, Starkie et al. (2015) recognize this negotiation to be of micro-level. However, negotiation between two organizations on an international scale represents macro level negotiation. When the negotiation takes place between multiple international players, this further complicates the negotiation process as all parties must agree to the terms and conditions (Starkey et al., 2015). What would you recommend organizations do to facilitate smooth negotiation on a macro-level between multiple international parties?
