As we saw in Medical Coding I, there are 4 major medical coding systems in use today. In this discussion board you are to differentiate the ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Make sure your post answers these questions for each system:
- What is it used for?
- Who publishes/controls the content?
- How often and when is it updated?
- Give at least one example code and definition for each system.
