I’m working on a illustrations project and need support to help me study.
This week you will choose your best rough draft and create a single, clean, line drawing (sometimes referred to as a clean line drawing) and then another version in which you add value to the polished illustration.
Please be sure to review this week’s reading – Adding Value to Concept: Value in the Storytelling Process – for help in accomplishing this goal.
If you need a refresher on the specs for the final project, you can find that in the Module 02 Lesson folder.
Line and Value Specs:
- Submit a single design, each, of your cleaned up, (clean line) drawing, as well as your value pass (two documents in total).
- You can use Photoshop or Illustrator or a combination of the two to create this assignment.
- The following elements should be included in your submission:
- Clean Line drawing of the Illustration of your best book cover based on the book you chose in Module 02.
- Value Pass of the Drawing/Illustration of the book cover based on the book you chose in Module 02.
- Your illustration should include the following:
- 1-2 characters from the book
- Characters placed in an environment
- Save your clean line drawing and your value pass as PDFs (Illustrator) or JPGs (Photoshop) for submission to the drop box.
