Myths, Legends, Fables, Sagas and Folk Tales all present us with protagonists (heroes) of different shapes, sizes, and types. If you had to construct a hero for the tastes of today, which ingredients would you keep, which would you discard, and which would you add to create a ‘hero’ that would meet either yours or today’s standards.
Choose one of the texts from week 3 and identify the heroic traits of the protagonist. Be specific.
