Using the information you have researched on your client organisation, and following the details provided on your media release (A2), construct a portfolio, i.e. a media tool kit, to be provided to news media before or at a hypothetical event indicated in your media release. This should be the same client organisation you chose for Assignment 2.
Your task –
• You are a media relations advisor employed by the client.
• Design a media tool kit that will be provided to journalists and
influencers before or at the media conference conducted for a
hypothetical event or a formal announcement.
• Choose among available online or design several images of your own
(logo/s, photo/s, infographics, etc.) to provide visual illustrations for
the media.
• Save all documents in one PDF file before submitting.
Your portfolio/media tool kit –
- Needs to be consistent with your media release for A2 (youshould integrate any feedback provided by markers for your A2).
- Must include: (1) a backgrounder (one page); (2) a fact sheet (onepage); (3) Q&A for a media interview (one page), and (4) images.Write a Rationale (two pages maximum) including your explanations of all elements of media tool kit structure and format and justifications for choosing different elements of the content, drawing on relevant theories learned throughout this course.Your Rationale should include in-text references in APA 7th edition and be followed by a Reference list (which can go on a separate page).
