2. You are fairly new to your role in the company. Your direct supervisor is approachable, friendly, and values collaborative work. However, she/he is very busy and not always accessible. Being that your role is new, there are high expectations for success in your department’s area. Your supervisor is very data driven and values statistical analysis to make decisions and inform the direction that the organization takes. The latest project that you’re working on involves developing a training program that will be used for your company’s clients. You must develop the program and make a presentation to the entire department before implementing the program with your clients. How can you utilize this scenario to effectively “manage up” with your supervisor?
