The purpose of this assignment is to give you the opportunity to critique a public speaker. You are to attend a LIVE (not televised) event where someone is speaking for at least 10 minutes. It can be a school, church, club, business or other setting. You do not have to personally know the person who is speaking.
The critique is to be 2-3 double-spaced pages. You will need to create a title page with the title of the speech you attended, the speaker’s name, the location, date of the event, and your name. This assignment is due by SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 and should be emailed to Dr. Crouch as an attachment. The attachment must be a Microsoft Word Document file (.doc or .docx) or in Rich Text Format (.rtf). Assignments received .wpd cannot be opened and therefore will not be graded.
Each critique must address the following, but should be in paragraph (not outline) format:
