Guidelines:

For this assignment, discuss one aspect of Pinker’s presentation on the emerging field of personal genomics. If you focus on a particular issue that has opposing positions, be sure to discuss both sides of the issue in a balanced manner.

Remember to follow basic expository essay format: APA format

First paragraph – introduction and your premise or main idea;

Body paragraphs – expand your main idea over approx. 3 paragraphs;

Last paragraph – summary of the topics in the body paragraphs and concluding remarks;

Make sure each paragraph has a topic sentence and only sentences which directly support your topic sentence.

Essay Length:

Aim to write approximately five paragraphs, over 1 and a half to 2 pages.
