Guidelines:
Discuss the role of music in a single film. You can choose any film that you like, even if it is discussed in the text. You are not limited to Hollywood films, as international films are acceptable.
Some Guidelines
o Whose point of view does the music represent (protagonist, antagonist, audience, etc.)
o Is the music effective?
o What style is the music – does it support the overall concept of the film?
o Does the music detract?
o I want to hear your opinion of the music’s effectiveness and why you feel this way.
- Format: 2-4 pages – typed with double-spacing
- Use a formal writing style. Grammar and spelling will be considered in your grade.
- A bibliography is not needed.
