Since I couldn’t find any free link on Google. I’ve decided to take this free website , the only problem is that The subtitle will be in Vietnamese.
This paper should be 5-6 pages total( not including the Works Cited page, which should be additional). It should be typed, double_spaced, Times New Roman 12 point font. Use MLA formatting,1″ margins on top, bottom, left and right. You should also have a Works Cited page which includes the movie and the four movie reviews that you cite.
Task:
Start with an introduction/summary in which you introduce the movie by title, dicrector, year released, and main actors. You may also offer some general statements about how the movie was received by audiences, how it was culturally received at the time of its relase. Then, summarize the main plot points of the movie, being sure to take the reader from the beginning of the movie to the end ( don’t go into minute detail, but be thorough). The entire summary can/should be in on parapraph.
In the next section, briefly discuss each of the four movie reviews you were required to read ( perhaps 4 to 6 sentences per movie review). This can all be in one paragrapph or it can be a new paragraph for each movie review.
Then, In a new paragraph, have a THESIS SECTION which basically conveys Your take on the movie, its strengths and weaknesses in general ( and elaborate on why when you are talking about strengths and weaknesses, being specific to scenecs/ aspects/ dialogue in the movie. For instance, if you say __ was a bad actor, in this movie, don’t just say “___ acted badly.” Point to a specific scene and how the actor delivered his/her lines and why it was flawed. Also, as a part of your thesis, put forth a particular critique you have of the movie ( This is the part where you focus on some concept in the movie that you find interesting and that warrants some analyisis. For example, it could be: 1) self-esteem and American culture, 2) suburban values and American culture, 3) women, feminism, 4) manhood in America, 5) Teen friendships and the cruel nature of them.
Then, in subsequent body parapraphs, discuss the focus you are talking. As usual, three to four developed paragraphs are required. For instance, if you did” women, femism, patriacchy, sexism,” you might have a paragraph on each Angle, Jane, and Carolyn.
In this his paper, it is okay of you have more than one focus. It is PREFERRED that you have just one. However, if you would like to have two- Such, as first discuss how women are portrayed, and then shift to suburban values, that is acceptable too. But you should deal with one focus completely first, then trasition, have a thesis statement for the other, and begin to discuss your second focus.
Include a short conclusion in which you wrap up the significance of the film and why you would or would not recommend it to others. What do viewers gain from watching this movie? Is it valuable to us in 2015? How does it speak to modern times?
