A question that your peers may respond to. You may make references to previous readings, additional relevant academic or newspaper articles, and/or any personal insights or experiences that you may have had that relate directly to topic of the week. If you do reference a personal experience, be sure to clearly explain how or why it links to the readings; your responses should never consist primarily of a description of something that you experienced. Briefly state model of disability that you subscribe to. Have you adopted a medical model, a social model, or a combination? The UNTWO (2013, 5) report considers the “denial of reasonable accommodation” a form discrimination. In the week’s other readings, audio recording, and video, were there situations where you felt the lack of a “reasonable accommodation” was hindering an individual? Were there cases where you felt that, although an accommodation could have been made, the accommodation would not have been “reasonable”?
