For this discussion, respond to the following:
Most of the theories of management we have explored in this module were originally developed to understand the for-profit world of work. Keeping this in mind. Based on the first four posted articles in this module, which of these theories do you think would be best suited for helping us understand what motivates employees and volunteers in the nonprofit world? If you were leading a nonprofit organization, which one of these theories of human motivation, would you use to guide your interactions with staff and volunteers at your organization? Also, do you think motivating staff and volunteers should be different? Why or why not?
Please prepare for a threaded post. Your initial post should be at least 250 words.
You will also need to post a response to at least two of your classmates’ posts except the primary post. Also, make sure that your response(s) are substantial and consist of at least 100 words.
