Purpose
This assignment is designed to familiarize you with the importance and variables of sound in video and to prepare you to be able to use sound effectively in video production.
Instructions
For this assignment, you’ll be combining scenes with a sound journey into a narrative fiction film only based on sound and video clips.
The video should incorporate the following aspects:
- Your film should include 5 sounds from free sample sound banks (such as freesounds (链接到外部网站。)) and 5 sounds recorded by yourself.
- Additionally, your scenes should be a combination of a minimum of 5 clips filmed by you and 5 clips from copyright-free video databases (such as Pexels (链接到外部网站。)).
Combine the final clips and sounds into a narrative film video between 3:30 and 4 minutes in length. You will submit the final video, and a brief storyline with a description (no more than a paragraph) of the 5 techniques you used and how they helped you communicate your storyline.
SUBMISSION
You will use your Miami-provided YouTube account to upload your videos and share the link to complete your assignment submission. You will also submit your brief storyline and description using the text field below.
