Modern Math is all about the marriage between classical axioms and theories to modern, innovative ways of thinking. So to celebrate our foray into this exciting union (and to bring us luck!) we’ve got to find “something new, and something old.”
For your inaugural discussion post, you need to not only introduce yourself, but also find out a little bit about two mathematicians: one that is considered a “classical thinking,” and the other that has been doing his thinking in the last one hundred years.
