Model of Equity Theory

In chapter 9, on Social Relationships, there are several theories discussed (Uncertainty Reduction, Predicted Outcome Value, etc.). Notice that these theories have visual models to help the reader access the material both visually and spatially. On pages 293-294, the explanation for Equity Theory and Relationship Formation has no model. Read this entry carefully.

Part 1: Using the other models on the chapter as examples, create your idea of a model of Equity Theory and Relationship Formation. I recommend creating this as a 1-slide PowerPoint, as it is very easy to add, edit, move images and texts. Then, SAVE AS A JPEG FILE. Upload your image (or use the “Embed Image” feature) of the model as Part 1 of this discussion. TIP: Keep the model simple but clear (with images, lines, words, etc.).

Part 2: Respond to at least 1 other model, and critique it for what you think works, or what the person who created it might consider next time. Perhaps you think the color contrast could be better, or perhaps the “arrows are helpful”. etc.

I wend all the information that be needed.
