You are going to create your own free Padlet account and create your own “wall”. If you need assistance with Padlet, this page will assist you. While participating in each module, you are to think about what you’ve learned or have had reinforced and how you are applying your learning to your schooling, your career, or to your personal life. You may also be extending your learning by finding and reading about some of the topics presented in your text and in the modules on your own.
As you reflect upon each module and how it has affected your learning and professional growth, find an interesting article, cartoon, link to a video or audio file, news story, editorial, photo, or some other type of artifact that you found to be interesting, relevant, and representative of the course topics. Post your artifact and type in why you included the artifact and why you found it to be interesting or important to your learning.
You will submit your visual journal in Module 7 to your instructor. Padlet allows you to either accept their URL or you can create your own URL. Padlet also allows you to export and share your walls in different formats. Therefore, be thinking about how you want to submit your wall and in what format you want to share it.
Locate and post on your wall a minimum of 4 artifacts per module (Modules 1-6; a minimum of 24 artifacts total). Most students will be posting more than 4 artifacts per module as they think about the topics and formulate questions that encourage searching, researching, reading, and responding.
Submission: To submit your visual journal, choose the link titled, Visual Journal above. Use the “Browse My Computer” button in the Attach File area to attach your URL. Padlet allows you to save your wall as a URL or in a variety of text files. Decide which format you feel would best present your wall’s artifacts and submit either the file or URL. Be sure to complete your submission by choosing the “Submit” button at the bottom of the screen.
