On page 286 of our textbook the Last Word is an article regarding the dominance of the internet by a few big organizations. On October 2020, the US Department of Justice filed a civil antitrust against Google for manipulating internet search and internet advertising creating a monopoly.
Draw on your knowledge of Economic Law & Principles, think about Coase’s Theorem (pg. 90) and write a three-page paper on the need or not of this action against Google. Is Google a monopoly is there a reason that the market will prevent their monopoly status? Search back in history for other antitrust actions against computer / internet companies, you may gain additional insight.
