“The following eight components should be included in your disease-chlamydia- synopsis:

 Causal agent/Reservoir/vector

 Method of transmission/incubation

 Disease symptoms and signs

 Diagnostic test

 Two most common treatment(s)

 Mechanism of disease

 Target organs/cells

 Differential Diagnosis (with what other diseases is it confused, how can you tell the difference between your disease and others?)

New Development in your assigned disease (5yrs) This NEW development should explore in depth a new discovery regarding your disease (last five years).

 References: Use PubMed or CDC to find the relevant information on your disease. For example, recently discovered complications, a new set of treatments, new diagnostics, a new population that has become more susceptible. You can check your textbook and Wikipedia for information, but they CANNOT be a reference!
