I need support with this Social Work question so I can learn better.

Social Work is a values-based profession, and we follow our core values as outlined in the NASW Code of Ethics. These core values are central to our professional identity. As a reminder, our six (6) core values are:

  • Service
  • Social justice
  • Dignity and worth of the person
  • Importance of human relationships
  • Integrity
  • Competence

Please watch this video about some of the human rights violations that occurred during this appalling period of history.

Social Workers are often called “human rights workers.” We strive to support human rights in our communities and across the world as well. As social workers – fueled by our core values – what should we think or feel about the Nazi atrocities? Please share your thoughts on the discussion board.
