MGT542 Innovation Management Final Project on Maroof E-Platform

There will be 2 reports, and 2 presentations, as follows:

• 50% progress report and presentation
• 100% progress report and presentation.

Using [respectable] popular media, primary and secondary data, you will write a report on Maroof E-Platform innovation topic and present the results to the mentors. The report is likely to include:

• A description of the technology (i.e., what it is and what it does: digital – AI – robotics – augmented reality – Fintech – etc.), but should also record where the technology came from, who led in commercializing it and who were/are likely to be the early adopters. The report may also reflect on the key challenges faced or enablers in the commercialization of the technology.
• These reports should be no more than 20 pages in length (plus any appendices), single spaced, Times Roman size 12.

There are two oral presentations:

– Initial oral presentation (15 minutes): (50% progress report and presentation Deadlines: 29-06-2021)

Involving the presentation of the research topic and the chosen technology, the motivation of this choice & the preliminary results (or progress report).

This presentation is likely to include a description of the technology (i.e., what it is and what it does), but should also record where the technology came from.

– Final presentations (written and oral): (100% progress report and presentation Deadlines: 06-07-2021)

– Written group report: we will present the characteristics of the chosen technology/topic,

• How would it be applied to contribute to the growth of big firms and SMEs in Saudi Arabia and around the world.
• its impact on society and the challenges it faces.
• The plan should be short and to the point, yet comprehensive enough to convince the reader of the relevance of the proposals.
• The written report should be no longer than 20 pages in length (12-point Times New Roman font, single spaced, 1-inch margins), plus any appendices.

– Oral group presentation: (Required presentation which will be presented in 20 min length)

• Verbally present a summary of those issues covered in the written group report (20 minutes maximum).
