Case Study Questions:

1a. Name the five barriers that contribute to unethical decisions within organizations.

1b. For each barrier, describe the barrier and the impact on stakeholders.

2a. In 2016, it was reported that thousands of employees at Wells Fargo, over the course of multiple years, created more than a million phony accounts in the names of unaware customers. Research this issue and describe at least three factors that led to the employees’ unethical behavior and willingness to engage in fraud.

2b. Assess which stakeholder groups were impacted by the unethical acts of Wells Fargo employees. Name at least two stakeholder groups and describe how they were impacted.
