Initial Proposal of Research (30 points):
- An overview of your selected organization and your role in it (if any).
- An explanation of why your selected organization is important to you.
- A preliminary behavioral problem statement in the form of a research question. Consult with your instructor concerning your research question, if needed.
- Examples of behavioral problems are high rate of turn-over, lack of motivation, engagement, loyalty, absenteeism, commitment by employees, and social responsibility involvement in an organization.
- The behavioral issues could also be directly related to management such as Poor communication and feedback skill, ethical performance, and prejudice actions.
- A narrative description of the organizational behavioral problem that you would like to research and resolve. How would resolving this organizational problem benefit your organization? What would be the impact to you? This section is the most important and will be the most carefully scrutinized.
