The Length should not exceed 3500 words (excluding references). Assignments should be word-processed: 12pt font size, with 1.5 or double line spacing
Below is a summary of the assignment requirements (look at other PDF files named “Assignment Guidelines” & “Additional Guidelines” for more detail):
1. Part (a) is a brief outline of the arguments as to why the MDGs failed their equality promises
2. Part (b) should form the larger part of the essay
3. Four elements to (b) covering issues related: How to ‘govern’ gender in the SDGs; Report on progress’ Collaborations and networking; measuring progress
4. Focus on SDG5 or on how gender has been mainstreamed across all 17 goals.
Remember:
– Cite literature from the course; and similar literature that you have found
– Do not change the essay question
– This is not a course unit on ‘gender discrimination per se, and there is no essay question that directly uses this term
