Your Week 6 writing assignment deals with Mentoring and Coaching in the work place. For this week, you will do some research on the subject outside of the text and course related materials.
Do your own research and find a mentoring program within your field (or the field that you wish to one day work in and progress). For this assignment, “field” is defined as corrections, law enforcement, juvenile justice, homeland security, emergency management, etc.
Find a mentoring program and tell how it works, how it is set up, what the outcomes are, etc. For this assignment, the program that you research either can be the mentoring of employees or some sort of public mentoring program (i.e. youth outreach).
Also, if you were to be involved in such a program, what particular skills and interests would you bring to the program. Also, what types of changes would you make to the program.
