Background and significance 2-3 pages regarding mental health utilization among African Americans and their mistrust.
Conduct and write a focused literature review on the Dissertation topic. Clearly describe the “knowledge gap” on the topic mental health utilization (i.e., that which is not yet known by researchers, according to the literature).
Describe the Theoretical Orientation of the study and construct a conceptual framework (written and graphical) of the proposed research (~2-4 pages).
The conceptual framework should graphically depict all important constructs (i.e. variables) in the study, as well as their hypothesized associations. At the end of this section, include a set of appropriately formulated, clearly phrased Research Hypotheses.
Write the Methodology section to include subsections with appropriate subheadings for a) Research Design b) Study Population c) Data Collection Tools d) Variables, and e) Statistical Analysis. (~3-4 pages).
