Section 1: There are MANY videos this week. Choose FIVE (5) videos and give me a WOW moment from each of them. I want you to tell me about an interesting fact or issue in the videos that made you think, got a response, or might have been something new that you hadn’t heard about.

NOTE: you MUST use bullets AND give the title (full or partial) for each video you pick.

Section 2: Relate this weeks’ topic in the videos and the book to something in your life

I want you to relate something from BOTH the videos and the text (Chapter 4) that RELATES to something YOU have observed or experienced in YOUR life (One from the Video + One from the Textbook = a MINIMUM of TWO issues… more is okay too!). USE paragraphs/bullets to separate and identify the video comments and text comments.

• THINGS TO THINK ABOUT:
  • maybe something related to a person you know? Could it relate to things you fear or other personal experiences? Maybe you’ve seen something similar in a movie or TV show or could you have studied it in another class? Tell me about the issue from the text/video and how it CORRELATES to the observance/experience you are referencing.

Just a reminder to those struggling:

• A “wow” moment would be that instant you realized that something in the videos was new, fascinating, or thought provoking information that made you actually think… WOW (or maybe you were more reserved and said, hmmmm… that’s interesting! or even super excited and thinking you must share this video with someone!). BRIEFLY tell me about the moment or specific scene (or you can talk about the whole video in general)…. WHAT did you find interesting?

• Tell me WHY this was a “wow” moment… why did you pick it? was it new info? fascinating? scary? did you think, “hmm… I wish I knew this before because I could have used this information when….”…. WHY!!! Be specific.. if you are VAGUE, and don’t explain why you found it a wow moment, you will not get full points.

• REMEMBER… this is all FIRST PERSON… I think, I feel, I was WHAT?
• College level writing & following format instructions…. no APA… concentrate on writing your thoughts. Do NOT include the questions… because it will ping the plagiarism tool… and you’ll lose points . You can label them also by sections ,for example section 1: blah blah , section 1: blah blah.
• 800 word minimum…. (this should be very easy!!)
