Lab experiment done with the objective to calculate the friction coefficient of various thread sealants. In
total there were 5 tests(2 different brands of thread sealants and 2 different brands of
Teflon tape). Steel-on-steel was tested and used as reference which will then be compared to publish
data for steel-on -steel friction coefficient.
Have the results in the excel file(see attachment). Just need the results & discussion section, the uncertainty analysis (see attachment) section, and conclusion done. See attachments for relevant info.
Guidelines:
Results and Discussion: Present the final results in graphical and numerical form. Interpret,
analyze and discuss the results as you present them. This is the most important part of the report;
it is not only the results but their significance and meaning.
Experimental Uncertainties: For the last two laboratories, you must include uncertainties
analysis in your report.
Conclusion and Recommendations: List the conclusions drawn from the present experiment.
The conclusions must be connected to your objectives. Offer relevant suggestions to improve
the experiment.
