This week we have learned about leadership strategies for engaging the collective genius, from seeking and including diverse points of view and building on the positive aspects of our organizations to acquiring a systems view through the design thinking process.
Focus how leaders have engaged the collective genius at your organizations through the use of one or more of the strategies we explored this week: humble inquiry, appreciative inquiry, and/or design thinking. Focus here on your observation of collective leadership strategies. In page and a half reflect on what you have learned from these observations and what you want to remember as you begin integrating these strategies into your own leadership.
Part B:Applying Collective Leadership Strategies
Last week in your paper, you presented an adaptive challenge within your organization. Given that adaptive challenge and the strategies you explored last week, present strategies for addressing the challenge–given your increased knowledge this week. How would you apply appreciative inquiry and leadership with design thinking and humble inquiry–leadership strategies for initiating and implementing organizational growth/change?
