In what ways do you think the manager’s job will be different in 20 years than it is today? How can you prepare for that future?

The first question is going to require some “outside the box” thinking. Many people try to “B.S.” this question by simply saying…..”I have no idea what the future will bring”… While I agree nobody can predict the future with 100% accuracy, that does not mean you are unable to make an INFORMED, EDUCATED, RESEARCHED ‘guess’. So, if I were you….
1. Do some quick Google searches to see what business “experts” think will be some of the biggest changes over the next 20 years.
2. Try to figure out how 1 or 2 of those changes will impact the job of the MANAGER (Plan, Organize, Staff, Lead, Control)
3. Then tell us how you specifically will prepare yourself to still have a viable career in management 20 years from now.
