Please review at least 20 peer-reviewed journal articles related to one of the technologies of your choice covered in the course. Consider that you can use this assignment to increase your knowledge about the single technology that you are most interested in and for which you could develop your own simulation model for the second assignment/report.
The report must be structured as a typical literature review paper, highlighting the techno-economic reasons for which the chosen technology is important in the context of current and future energy system.
The maximum number of pages is 15. However, try to be concise and effective in your communication. Summarize each paper, highlighting the main novelty introduced by the authors and then develop your own assessment of the work by evidencing the research gaps and possible improvements.

- Correctness and depth of the information (50%)
- Organization of the report (25%)
- Effectiveness and clarity (25%)
Additional consideration will be given to novel effective ways to summarize the contents of the papers via tables and figures.
