I don’t understand this Humanities question and need help to study.

School of Athens.jpeg

Above is a fresco by Raphael entitle “Schoo; of Athens.” In the centre is Plato with his hand pointing up to the realm of Ideas by his side is Aristotle pointing down to the earth, the realm of practical application. The historical figures to each of their sides divides the canvas between Theorists and Practitioners. Heraclitus (center left) on Plato’s “thinkers” side, Euclid on the right bottom on Aristotle’s “practitioners” side.

Discussion Prompt:

In many ways Ancient Greece came up with cosmological and social theories, while Ancient Rome put the theories into practice.  One might say the the Greeks invented Medicine, while Romans created Hospitals.  In what other ways can you note Greek theories being put into practice by the Romans?
