I’m working on a literature writing question and need support to help me study.
So I need help for my final essay of the semester. It’s just answering a question on a poem with 3 or more pages and need it done by tomorrow June 3rd 10pm pacific time !
i chose the second poem ” I Once Had a Good Boss”
For this assignment, you read 5 poems from the book The Boss by Victoria Chang. CHOOSE ONE of the poems and write an essay that answers the flowing question:
Victoria Chang has a recurring character in all of these poems, referred to simply as “the boss.” Who or what, in your opinion, is “the boss” and what role do they/it play in the world of the poem, and by extension our culture/society? Why do you think the author chose to use this repetition in her poems?
Keys for success:
- Your essay must be organized, beginning with an intro that has a hook, background/brief introduction to the poem, and a thesis statement that expresses your opinion to the above question. You can review this material in our class module.
- Your essay needs to have organized body paragraphs. I highly recommend you use the PIE strategy that we went over in class. You can review this material in our class module. Please keep your paragraphs simple and to the point. Body paragraphs should never be a whole page long.
- You must use direct quotes from the poem. I am not going to put a minimum, but a good rule of thumb is at least one quote to support each point you make with your body paragraphs. The poem is your only proof that your ideas are real and valid, so use it.
- You need to proofread your paper for typos and major grammar errors.
