DVt is the condition in which the vein has blood clots. This clots are caused by bacteria, microorganisms or damage to a vein(that can cause because of surgery, Inflammation, etc).
* The venous stasis,vascular injury,hypercaoagulability leads to damage of vein this leads to blood clot in extrimity, this leads to decrease blood flow.
* Blood clot buildup in the vein,this leads to break and moves through bloodstream to lungs,if this clot Bloks one or more blood vessels In lungs it is called pulmonary embolism.
How Deep vein thrombosis cause pulmonary embolism:-
Pulmonary embolism means the blockage of one or more arteries in the lungs, in deep vein thrombosis due to blood clots, blood stream will be blocked causing pulmonary embolism
Treatments for DVT:-
* Compressions stockings.
* Blood thinners like anticoagulants are used.
* Clot busters (if the condition is severe), etc.
