Lonestar College Feasibility of The Gap Closure Paper

Data are needed to make informed decisions about needs, gaps, and outcomes attainment. Similarly, data are needed to determine feasibility. Feasibility refers to the extent to which a program is doable. Whether a program is feasible is based on two factors: the required cost and the deliverable value.

Using findings from the gap analysis (Module 2), you will determine potential recommendations for closing each of the gaps in the adult education program related specifically to the instructional approaches and engagement strategies. You will research each recommendation, rank it according to feasibility, and create a chart that shows the rankings and describes (1) current state, (2) ideal state, (3) cost, and (4) deliverable value. You will share recommendations and rankings with several stakeholders in the adult learning program and summarize stakeholder reactions, comments, and suggestions for implementation.

  • Create a paper in a Word document for your response.
  • Use APA format for the paper, title page, references page, and in-text citations.
  • Develop an introduction and conclusion for your paper.
  • Follow the steps to complete the assignment.

Using your findings from the gap analysis (Module 2), determine potential recommendations for closing each of the gaps in the adult learning program related specifically to instructional approaches and engagement strategies.

Step 1.
Research each recommendation, and rank it according to feasibility.

Step 2.
Create a chart that shows the rankings and describes (1) current state, (2) ideal state, (3) cost, and (4) deliverable value. Introduce the chart in a well-developed paragraph.

Step 3.
Share recommendations and rankings with at least one stakeholder of the adult learning program. Do they agree or disagree with your recommendations? What suggestions did they make for implementation?

Step 4.
Compile your findings in a 3- to 5-page report (not including the title and references pages). Introduce your report by summarizing the purpose of this assignment. In a concluding paragraph, summarize stakeholder reactions, comments, and suggestions for implementation.
