I’m working on a history writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
First, do some outside research on this specifically narrowed topic by looking up an article about it in the library database.
Note: your article MUST come from the library database, but if it comes from Issues and Controversies or Opposing Viewpoints, it MUST come from a primary source link. Then, after identifying and choosing one article respond to it with a one page response that identifies the following:
1.
Does the author define the issue or topic appropriately?
2.
What assumptions do you think the author makes about the topic/issue?
3.
Does the essay contain data, expert opinions, experimentation, and/or examples, and are these fairly represented?
In addition, please write a paraphrased summary of the article. It should include the following:
?
Author’s name and title of article, along with the main argument the author is making
?
Include only the most important points the author is making to support the author’s argument.
