II Designing of Cam mechanisms –

Result review and analysis. – Calculation of main dimensions for cam mechanism The task of metric synthesis? What values need to be found; Used method and explanations; Drawing with explanations; The minimal values of calculated parameters. Values taken into design. – Cam profile design Main parameters describing geometry and work conditions of cam mechanism. Method used in Cam profile design (short description, info sources if needed, other important remarks) Drawing of design (with marked all curves and circles describing cam profile). Drawing 2 Please drawing should have is own page separated from the main work just like the sample i sent to you earlier.

III Designing of Gear mechanisms Review of gear mechanism presented in task.

Calculate and present transmission ratios (total, spur gear coupling and planet reducer) – Coupling design between gears z1 and z2 Analysis of gear z1 and z2 (evaluation of numbers of teeth); Explain why and how defined modification coefficients for gears; Calculation of gears geometrical parameters (advice: do it table – ex. In lecture slides) Explain steps and design gears coupling with gear teeth profiling Put all values in to drawing according standard; Calculate real overlapping coefficient from the drawing. Explain its meaning. – Designing of planet reducer Describe planet reducers design, given values and values needed to find; Explain method to find numbers of teeth for sun and planet gears. Calculate numbers of teeth. Check difference of designed and needed transmission ratios and evaluate it in percent. Check design of planet reducer by coaxiallity, coexistence; possibility to assemble reducer; Make drawing. Drawing 3 –
