Linear Regression and Standard Error Formula Lab Report

Step 1: The pre-lab assignments for lab 1 (Must show work)

Step 2: Do a linear regression practice. (I have included an example for linear regression pdf)

Step 3: Randomly choose one data set from the total 20 sets (on page 3 in the attachment). Use linear regression and show your calculation. 

Step 4:make a  graph (manually in a graph paper) to show both the data points and the best fitting line; don’t forget to write down the names of horizontal and vertical axes, the title, and the analytical expression of the best fitting line.)

Then do the following: 

Free- fall lab (a warm-up lab)

complete the calculation table;

make two graphs ( Figure 1: y vs. t ; Figure 2: y vs. t^2), t and t^2 serve as the horizontal axes.
