• Discuss what combined plans and costs exist for a ” convergence
solution” for your company- ( Ask your lead IT person if they have
considered this)
• Alternate Option (if not at a company): If you have very simple
voice structure( No Centrex/PBX), postulate what small business
options with specific vendor solutions/costs exist for a small company of
50-100 persons or the standards of virtual organizations of UOP
• Within the paper make sure one paragraph explains the difference
between:
• Rotary and Dual Tone Multi-frequency (DTMF)
• Wide Area Telecommunications Service (WATS) and leased lines
• Private Branch eXchange (PBX) and Centrex
