identify/name one particular organization that is an important player in the issue/problem. Find at least one additional piece of research that will help you write about the organization’s self-presentation. Read the organization’s mission statement and/or other public statements such as advertising or mottoes.
capture the varying viewpoints and complexities of the issue. Also offer thoughts on the particular organization you have identified. How is the organization presenting itself—to customers and the public, members, followers, shareholders? What does this presentation help you see about their values—what is central to their thinking?
write a letter to this organization. Give the reader/recipient a sense of the problem you want to address, and a sense of why, in your view, this is a critical issue to think about and act on.
