You need to start a Journal immediately after the first class, and write 200-300 word minimum entries each week of the course. More frequent entries would illustrate greater learning, and are encouraged. The point of each journal entry is to document a reflection upon the elements of diversity awareness and management that you learned that week – sources would include the text readings, assignments, class discussion, relevant and current news items. Your journal needs to explain what you learned that you feel is significant to you, and describe why and how you perceive it. The journal is a single document, with each week having a separate, dated entry. From time to time, the professor may require you to turn it in for review to ensure you are on the right track and to get feedback.
