Need help with weeks 8 and 10 assignment that’s due June 21st at 11:59 pm. Will need QI Macro access to complete all work.

Case Study:

In the Week 10 case study assignment, you are asked to create a Control Plan. The intent of this assignment is to familiarize you with Control Plans. Remember, the Control Plan is to act as a hard copy document for the Process Owner and Team to examine for a given process and provide the control limits for them to verify. It is accepted by management and needs to be adhered to throughout the Control Phase and is applied to set targets for key process OUTPUT and INPUT variables. A Quality Assurance Department/Team should check Control Plans as a means of examination procedures to ensure quality is being maintained. The following link does a good job explaining what the intent of each column is in the Control Plan: http://www.dmaictools.com/control/control-plan

Control Plan Components:

HINT: A Control Plan is often a chart of high level summary. Consider including the below info:

  • What is the process and use the actual process numbers as provided
  • Process characteristics/specifics
  • Process goal/specifications and/or tolerance
  • How it will be measured (how many samples/% and how often? weekly, bi-weekly)
  • The control method and the reaction plan summary (what happens if we are out of control)
