Overview
Leadership is an elusive concept with many styles and attributes that make some successful and
others not so much. As a group, chose three examples of leaders that highlight some important
aspects of leadership.
Requirements
1. At least one leader per participant and then examine the common attributes and differences of
these leaders so that your group might generalize what to look for in a successful leader.
2. Prepare a PowerPoint of between 10-15 slides that can be shared with the class to explain why
each leader was chosen and how these examples relate to us as future leaders/managers.
3. A five to seven page group paper should also accompany the presentation (prepared in APA
format) and including at least five scholarly resources (not Wikipedia, Infopediia, or any other
pedia).
4. Each group should submit both their PowerPoint and Group paper. I will post your PowerPoint
for the class to review and setup a forum for questions. The paper will be graded separately.

Think of this paper as the forward to your new Leadership book. Use the Outline (above) as a guide to
tell your potential readers about your personal leadership journey and why your philosophy, is the one
they have been searching for.
