Assignment: Revise and expand Paper 1 (1,250-1,500 words) into a 10-to-12 page (2,500-3,000 words) analysis of three (3) primary class sources from different disciplines. You must draw from at least three (3) secondary sources from class in the process of analyzing your primary sources, as well as at least three (3-5) scholarly sources from the University Library gathered through your research (see breakdown below). You may use any of your writing from Paper 1 and other class assignments (informal and formal), but this writing must be revised and, if necessary, refocused.
Possible Topics. Revise and narrow the topic/focus/research question of your first paper (Paper 1) to come up with a Paper 2 focus. While you may need to revise your paper’s thesis, focus, and research question, please do not choose a completely different topic for Paper 2. One place to look for a revised thesis/focus of Paper 2 is in the conclusion of Paper1.
