What are your feelings about the provision of guaranteed income to people? Do you find the data in the experiment believable and discuss the common argument that giving people money will disincentive them. “Financial scarcity brings about time scarcity” discuss what Amy Baker is finding to be true in her experiment. Discuss income volatility, how does this affect ability to invest , receive loans and credit and deal with unplanned events. Discuss racial justice and economic justice being intertwined with need with financial stability. Discuss the how economic insecurity has the detrimental effect on peoples health and their ability to be present with their families because of the need to work multiple jobs to provide for the family.
