Paragraph 2: Write your personal reflection about this poem. How does the poem speak to you? What does it make you think about in your own life?

Part Two: Application

Choose a place outdoors and spend at least 15 minutes sitting quietly by yourself. Don’t listen to music. Don’t bring your phone. Force yourself to pay attention to small things that you usually ignore, such as the way the air is moving. Touch the natural world and record the textures, such as the bark of a tree. Take a notebook and record in detail what you observe. Be very specific.  Then, use your notes to write a descriptive paragraph (approximately 150 words, but you can write more if you like). Your paragraph should reflect your own worldview of nature.
