LAMC Father Child Attachment and Effectiveness of scaffolding Presentations

You will create and deliver a 5-6-minute PowerPoint presentation to our class based on

the findings of your research topic.

class #1 350 the topic is on Effectiveness of scaffolding in classroom settings (preschool setting or elementary setting)

class #2 352 the topic on Father-child attachment and the special role of fathers

(I have three article critiques for each class that are finished that will be used )

Your presentation will include the following slides to discuss:

1. A brief summary of what your research topic was
2. A brief summary of the major findings from your three articles
3. The applied implication of your findings for professionals working with childrenand families

o Your implications should apply to your target audience. For example, if

your research topic explored father-child attachment you will want to include how the findings from your articles apply to all families (single- parent, blended, divorce, remarried, same sex, etc), fathers, professionals working with families, etc.

o You will ask yourself: how do the findings apply to the target audience? How do the results apply to individuals working with the target audience? How does this information change the work that is currently being done? How can one apply the findings to their daily practice? Etc.
