Lamar University Concept of Tokenization Discussion

This week we explored the concept of Tokenization.  Three important protocols discussed were Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC), Policy-Backed Token (PBT) and Open Asset Protocol (OAP).  Compare and contrast these three protocols and explain which industries can benefit the most from each of these protocols.

Please make your initial post and two response posts substantive. A substantive post will do at least two  of the following:

  • Ask an interesting, thoughtful question pertaining to the topic
  • Answer a question (in detail) posted by another student or the instructor
  • Provide extensive additional information on the topic
  • Explain, define, or analyze the topic in detail
  • Share an applicable personal experience
  • Provide an outside source that applies to the topic, along with additional information about the topic or the source (please cite properly in APA)
  • Make an argument concerning the topic.
  • Please help me with 2 replays below:

It is designed based on computational and communication both purpose. Policy backed token or PBT is used for security purpose in for exchanging data and information. It store the data in the form of block where each block store some information based on ledger system. In this ledger system data is encrypted in the form intelligent integrity where unauthorized person cannot access the data. It works with point to point protocol based on tokenization system.

SMCP is a type of cryptographic protocol that is utilized in the distribution of computations across multiple parties. In such a case, no single party can view data from the other parties (Zhao & et al., 2019). It allows data scientists and analysts to compute within a distributed environment privately, securely, and compliantly. SMPC can perform inferences on encrypted data. Also, it is invulnerable to any powerful computational strategies, and it’s complex than FHE but cheap. One application of SMPC is in healthcare industries, where it is used to transfer medical data to patients securely and privately (S)
