There are TWO PARTS to this week’s Lab.
Part A: What is a fossil?
Open and complete the document attached called Fossils1.pdf. Save and upload to the Assignment folder.
Part B: Sketching Cambrian Fossils
Open and read invert fossils.pptx file. You will find the fossils necessary for you to make your sketches in the word document called Fossils Lab Activity 2. You only need to sketch one of each sample, i.e., one sponge, one coral each, one bryozoa and one brachiopod . Not all of the samples will show all of the body parts as they may not have been preserved. The Lab itself that you will complete is the pdf document called Lab Activity 2. Please also answer the synthesis questions at the end of the lab. You can complete this on a separate sheet of paper and submit
Do not do the multi-fossil sample sketch.
